Coming from a small high school in NY State, Nancy played a number of wind instruments from a young age.
Her path to the horn was thru playing trumpet, then mellophone when, after 20 years break, she enjoyed rekindling her love of jazz standards with her pianist husband.
Finally, as one of her mentors recently reflected, "she went legit".
Nancy is a committed hornist and currently a member of the Blawenburg Band and a quintet and has enjoyed playing for musicals and other area small groups.
She is a Clinical Social Worker in private practice.
